(Reuters photo)Thai Airways International has joined other airlines in imposing a complete ban on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, whether on board or in checked baggage. The move of THAI, as well as several other carriers, came after reports of the model catching fire recurred even after Samsung replaced older batches with new ones. The South Korean manufacturer finally gave up on the smartphone by ending its production last month. The model had been touted as its flagship in the stylus device category.
