The stars came out and tiki torches flickered around an eerie drumming circle gathered in a southwest Calgary park. Did I find the deep spiritual connection I felt inside the church with the drumming circle in nature? We had a loving family, where church, faith and service were part of everyday life. My friend and I soon arrived at the park and placed our chairs in the middle of the drumming circle.
