The 29-year-old has been one of the top-performing midfielders in world football, winning two Premier League titles with Leicester City and Chelsea, and the World Cup with France in 2018. Lampard told BT Sport: ‘We had four or five of those [injured players] when we finished playing recently. ‘The players health comes first the mental wellbeing of the players comes first. ‘We obviously need N’Golo Kante back in our team one of the best players in the world.
