Drink-driver's licence suspended

A 32-year-old man had his licence suspended for 28 days on Sunday after driving while more than four times the legal limit on the Crown Range Rd. Senior Sergeant Paula Enoka, of Queenstown, said the man, from Christchurch, was heading towards Queenstown but being followed by a patrol car. The manner in which the man's vehicle was being driven raised concerns and the officer pulled him over for a breath test at 12.25pm. The legal limit is 250 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath. He has been summonsed to appear in the Queenstown District Court on November 14.
