Inusah Fuseini, the former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, has waded into the raging stand-off between the Police Service and Parliament. “At all times, we should accord some respect to the Police Service and Members of Parliament and Parliament as an institution. The stand-off is not good for our democracy; I mean the police should help complement the activities of Members of Parliament,” Mr Fuseini entreated. Victor Adawudu, Mr Sosu’s lawyer, had stated in court that his client was out of the jurisdiction and would be back the following week. It was the second time the court had had to adjourn the case because of Mr Sosu’s absence.
