Photo: ANI/FilePakistan’s Foreign Office on Wednesday issued a strong condemnation of provocative remarks by India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in which he boasted of the Indian army’s readiness to cross the Line of Control (LoC). In a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan expressed strong disapproval of Singh's fiery statements made earlier today in the Drass area of Ladakh. Pakistan urged India to refrain from dragging Pakistan into its populist public discourse, which aims to stoke hyper-nationalism for electoral gains. The Foreign Office asserted that India's claims about IIOJK were not supported by historical facts, international law, or the situation on the ground.
