British Transport Police (BTP) officers and London Ambulance Service members were called to Bromley South station just after 1pm on Bank Holiday Monday. There were unconfirmed claims that the staff member was attacked after asking to see a passenger's ticket. A witness, who tweeted a photo of police and ambulance vehicles, wrote on Twitter: "Sabbing at Bromley South station." Thameslink tweeted: "The police are dealing with an incident at Bromley South which means the station is exit only at the moment. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.15pm today (Monday 31 May) to reports of an incident at Bromley South station, Bromley.
