BJ Watling took a catch off the bowling of Tim Southee to take the wicket of Mominul Haque for 64. Bangladesh were 184 for four after 49 overs, with Shakib Al Hassan and Mushfiqur Rahim unbeaten on 24 and 11 respectively. They entered the day 154 for three after a rain disrupted first day.
