Egypt’s national team was crowned the 2022 WSF Women’s World Team Squash Champion after defeating the American team 2-0 in the final match to achieve the title for the fifth time in its history. Egyptians has been maintaining its supremacy of the squash game, whether in terms of the number of world championships that Egypt has achieved over the past few years or the top players of the men’s and women’s world rankings. Omar Hisham Talaat — Chief Business Development Officer at Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) — said that Madinaty Sporting Club’s hosting of the 2022 Squash World Cup is the second global sporting event hosted by TMG’s clubs. Previously, Madinaty hosted the Asian Tour series golf championship, in which 120 players from more than 40 countries participated. Wooldridge also praised the distinguished organization of the 2022 WSF Women’s World Team Squash Championship — which was held at Madinaty Sports Club from 10 to 16 December — and thanked TMG for its contribution and support for hosting and organising the tournament.
