Bilateral ties between Tokyo and Yaounde were also discussed with the Japanese Ambassador announcing plans underway for the construction of two hospitals in Yaounde. At the end of the audience, H.E. Kunio Okamura handed over an invitation to Minister Andre Mama Fouda to take part in the 10th International Conference on Maternal and Child Health Handbook to be held in Tokyo from 23rd to 25th November 2016. The 2015 conference took place in Cameroon.
