Six individuals, including three women, were arrested by Andheri police for a fake raid. MUMBAI: In a Akshay Kumar-starrer Special 26-style plot, a sacked driver allegedly teamed up with two Income Tax officials and others to conduct a fake raid at his former employer’s office in Mumbai and demand Rs 1 crore. Police said the operation was masterminded by former company driver Santosh Khopatkar, 37, who was sacked about three months before the alleged raid and wanted revenge against his former employer.The fake raid was conducted at Two M Ophthotronics Pvt Ltd in Sahar Cargo Estate, Chakala. Police registered an FIR on September 4 following a complaint by company owner Rajkumar Kandasami.Kandasami told police that his employees called him saying I-T officials had raided the office. However, Kandasami asked them to produce authorisation documents for the raid.
