Hiring a digital marketing manager in 2015 was another pivotal move. Investing into digital marketing has significantly benefited us ten years later. Not only did we survive a very challenging period, but we emerged stronger and expanded into a national media brand through our acquisition of Bdaily. That calendar includes the VISION 31 investment campaign, which continues to lead efforts to supercharge North East industrial and economic growth over the next decade. Our ambition is to scale both the NET and Bdaily brands nationally, replicating the success we’ve built in the North East.

Britain will back a modular nuclear power station for Anglesey Island in northern Wales, ending years of uncertainty over the fate of what is considered the country’s best nuclear site. The decision, which was announced Thursday morning in London, appears to be an effort to create a British nuclear champion and a move to increase the government’s role in the economy, especially the energy sector. The Wales plant would also be the first of this type of nuclear plant to be built in Britain. Modular designs are promoted as cheaper and quicker to construct. Rolls-Royce SMR, an affiliate of the jet engine maker that is one of Britain’s few remaining large industrial companies, will design the power station at Wylfa, a rocky headland on the island that overlooks the Irish Sea.

‘User privacy’The company also attacked the newspaper publicly in a blog post by chief information security officer Dane Stuckey, who accused the paper of “invasion of user privacy”. On 7 November, Magistrate Judge Ona Wang ruled that it would be “appropriate” for OpenAI to produce the logs that Times lawyers had requested as part of the discovery process. In her original decision, Wang said OpenAI had failed to explain why it thought user privacy was at risk, given that the logs were subject to “exhaustive” anonymisation. In its filing, OpenAI argued the logs were “irrelevant” to the case. Judge Elke Schwager of Munich District Court I ruled that OpenAI should pay damages, while OpenAI said it disagreed and would appeal.
