Grade III will go first – beginning with Ireland’s Jessica McKenna and DCI Cerruti at 9am UK time (10am local time). The finalists for this year’s Times Higher Education Awards for the UK and Ireland have been named. More than 120 institutions submitted well over 500 entries in all, with 69 institutions making the final shortlist for this 21st edition of the awards, dubbed the “Oscars of higher education”. A MAN in his 30s was "stabbed eight times" in a park attack with police still urgently hunting the knifeman. The man’s sister shared on social media that her brother was stabbed “eight times” and suffered a punctured lung, but was “currently stable”. An air ambulance is reported to have attended the scene to provide emergency treatment, and the man was taken to hospital. “It was reported that the man had been stabbed and he was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service. “An investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance confirmed dispatch of an air ambulance around 12.13am.
