If you want to know why North Berwick was the only Scottish town named on the list, here is everything that was said about the location. "Stop at peaceful Paper Flower for handmade cards and gifts (37 High Street) and family-owned Norden for hip homewares (norden.online) or put your pet first and shop at Barker & Bone, a designer boutique for the discerning dog (and cat) owner (47 High Street). In his first campaign stop following the debate, Biden showed off a louder and more dynamic voice at the North Carolina state fairgrounds in Raleigh. “I know what millions of Americans know,” Biden said. “I don’t walk as easily as I used to, I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to, I don’t debate as well as I used to,” Biden said, addressing the widespread criticism of his Thursday performance. “But I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth.”Repeating a line from the debate, he said of Trump, his rival for the White House, “I spent 90 minutes on a stage debating a guy who has the morals of an alley cat.” Biden added: “I think he [Trump] set a new record for the number of lies told at a single debate.”www.theguardian.com/...

Though Hoodline reports that the grocery store claims they will be open again by noon Friday. The New York Times drew sharp criticism Friday after their print edition hit the stands with no mention at all of Joe Biden's disastrous presidential debate performance against Donald Trump. 'And whoever the Democratic nominee is, it is 100% certain they will endorse that candidate as well, even Joe Biden.' While another shared a screengrab of the page, adding: 'What’s missing from today’s front page of The New York Times?' Congressional leaders even admitted Biden's debate performance where he meandered and struggled to finish sentences was bad. DailyMail.com has reached out to the New York Times for comment but there was no immediate response.

Anthony Taylor was slammed for the delay after the matchUEFA’s managing director of referees Roberto Rosetti believes that the English officials took too long to make a VAR decision during the Netherlands’ 0-0 draw with France. Euro 2024 has had very few moments of controversy so far, with the crop of officials and implementation of semi-automated technology for offsides to thank for the positive changes. Referee Anthony Taylor and VAR Stuart Attwell were at the heart of the incident, and the duo have come under fire from UEFA for the delay in reaching a decision on whether the goal should stand. UEFA chief Rosetti said: “We can improve because we have also to find elements of improvement — and there are always elements for improvement. I guess I think in this situation the element of improvement is the duration of this review.

Last year, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said in a speech that he was proud to be Britain’s first prime minister of Asian heritage, but “even prouder that it’s just not a big deal.”On Friday, Mr. Sunak said he was “hurt” and “angry” after a man campaigning on behalf of Reform U.K., an anti-immigration party, was recorded on video using a racist slur to describe him. The same man also called for migrants to be used as target practice. The comments appeared in an exposé by Channel 4 News, in which an undercover investigator secretly filmed Reform campaigners in Clacton, a seaside area north east of London. The party’s leader, the veteran political disrupter Nigel Farage, hopes to win his first parliamentary seat there. The investigation, broadcast on Thursday night, raised uncomfortable questions about Reform, which has shaken up the country’s general election campaign ever since Mr. Farage reversed an earlier decision not to stand for Parliament.

Like many of you I was shocked to find racists among the ‘Reform UK’ candidates as exposed by a Channel 4 undercover documentary team yesterday. We are as ‘dismayed’ as Nigel Farage is at this turn of events. So now we can add the emergence of full blown English fascism to the list. Reform isn’t really a party at all, its just an edifice for far-right rhetoric and open racism. British politics – or certainly English politics is being re-made before your eyes.
