He ranks second in the 2007 NHL draft class behind Kane — who has 1,180 career points. Kane’s 750 career assists are 172 more than Voracek, who ranks second from that draft class in that category as well. Only Kane, Benn, PK Subban and Pacioretty have reached an 80 point share to date. This past season, Kane moved past Bobby Hull into fourth all-time in regular season games played in the Indian head. It’s remarkable looking back at the dynasty roster that three of the top four players in regular season games played were from the most recent generation.

“I will challenge the amendments to NAB law in the Supreme Court this week… this new law is disrespect to the nation and the country,” he said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Tuesday. Calling the passage of the NAB law an insult to the nation, Imran said that the rulers should be put in jail just for shamelessly amending the NAB law. PTI chairman hoped that the top court would take notice of the NAB amendments, saying the “imported government” did not come to power for the people but to end its corruption cases. The new law, he said, clipped the powers of the anti-corruption watchdog as NAB will not be able to deal with money laundering cases. Imran said that he would give another call for protest against all those who have become part of the conspiracy.

The PTI government penned an IMF deal in 2019 for a $6 billion economic stimulus package under its Extended Fund Facility. The programme was stalled in 2020 after Pakistan failed to meet the IMF’s conditions. Once the country meets the IMF’s conditions, it is hoped that it will unlock other external funding options as well. The IMF’s policies are largely directed at economic stabilisation, but at the expense of the middle class and the poor. If nothing concrete takes us out of the current economic crisis, then the future might be even grimmer.

The recent round of negotiations between the Pakistan Government and the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in June 2022, led by 53-member Grand Tribal Jirga, has triggered a debate in Pakistan regarding whether or not negotiating with the TTP is a bad choice for the state. Furthermore, public messages of the Islamic State of Khorasan Province (IS-K) revealed its soft spot for the TTP, hence defecting TTP elements can also strengthen IS-K in the region if not neutralised. In view of this, TTP in fact, also serves as a case study for its historical connection with the Afghan Taliban, al-Qaeda, and the IS-K in the region. Based on three main factors, the tendency for the success of negotiations is greater than it has ever been in past;First, IEA seeks international legitimacy and the Pakistan-TTP negotiation has now become a test case for them to demonstrate their commitment to the agreed upon Doha Agreement. TTP co-founder and senior commander Khorasani also completely supports the current negotiations, unlike 2014 when he sabotaged both sides’ dialogue.

Tax the public to pay back the loans consumed by the elite; this has been the norm in preparing budgets since the debt trap was laid in October, 1958. Despite the fact that less than 1 percent pay income tax in the land of the pure, the FBR is hoping to collect all these taxes this year. Only in very large projects some short-term debt makes sense, but with a clear road map to pay it back. Debt with no pay back mechanism is death, both for the nation and the individuals who spend borrowed money as if there is no payback. Fuel at Rs150 billion was the highest, followed by edible oil at Rs 50 billion followed by tea at Rs 20 billion.
