This landmark gathering brings together the intellectual and administrative powerhouses of the West African Monetary Agency (WAMA), the West African Monetary Institute (WAMI), and the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM). The halls of the summit are currently filled with Central Bank Governors, Finance Ministers, and senior technical experts navigating the complexities of regional financial stability. These bodies represent the regulatory backbone of the region, ensuring that as West African economies grow more interconnected, they do so with robust oversight and harmonized standards. For Liberia, hosting this event is more than a diplomatic gesture; it is a clear assertion of its role as a proactive leader in the West African financial landscape. By facilitating these intensive dialogues, the nation is helping to bridge the gap between individual national interests and the collective goal of a resilient, integrated economic zone.
