According to the Court, ‘Prophet Key’ is accused of directing repeated invectives at the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia, the Supreme Court as an institution, and other Justices of the Bench. Signed by Supreme Court Clerk Sam Mamulu, the communication instructs ‘Prophet Key’ to appear before the Full Bench of the Supreme Court on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia. Although the Court did not publicly outline the specific statements attributed to ‘Prophet Key’, it emphasized that the alleged remarks were persistent and severe, prompting the intervention of the nation’s highest court. ‘Prophet Key’, who is known as a religious man and public commentator on national issues, has not yet issued a public response to the citation.
The controversy erupted following reports that Mr. Sherman, the LFA’s Deputy Technical Director, made demeaning remarks about Liberian coaches.
