US prosecutors in Hunter Biden's tax evasion case have accused him of accepting money from a Romanian oligarch who sought to "influence US government agencies". Republicans have long accused Hunter Biden, 54, of "influence peddling", although Congressional probes have yet to uncover any wrongdoing. In the filing, prosecutors said they plan to introduce evidence that Hunter Biden and an associate "received compensation from a foreign principal who was attempting to influence US policy and public opinion" and prompt the US "to investigate the Romanian investigation of GP". Republicans in the House of Representatives - who last year opened an impeachment inquiry into the Biden family's foreign business ties - had previously raised concerns about ties between Hunter Biden and Popoviciu. The latest claims against Hunter Biden come less than two months after he was found guilty on all three charges in a federal gun trial held in Delaware.

These days, cocaine is embedded within the far right in England. “Anecdotally, the use of cocaine at public events seems to be on the rise,” says Sumnall. And with cocaine lending itself to acts of aggression, it may be making these destructive protests even worse.

Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. has announced that it has diversified its sources of coking coal, cutting its reliance on Australian supplies by over 50%. This move is expected to lower the overall cost of steel production, according to the company's regulatory filing on Thursday. The development is significant as the government has been working to reduce India's reliance on a few countries for coking coal supplies. Indian steel manufacturers had been sourcing large quantities of coking coal from Australia due to the lack of availability in the domestic market.
