Haiti Prime Minister Ariel Henry has resigned following a crisis meeting between the 15-member Caribbean Community regional bloc known as CARICOM. PUTRAJAYA: Bersatu will enforce amendments to its constitution against its rogue elected representatives immediately upon approval by the Registrar of Societies (ROS), says party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Among those who came were Bersatu secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin and vice-president Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee. Muhyiddin also said Bersatu believes it has fulfilled all of the ROS’ technical requirements on its amendments to the party constitution. The motion was mooted by party deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu and was unanimously approved. “Making accusations against the party is an irresponsible act,” he said, adding that Bersatu operates on its party constitution and rules.

Mr Nyakundi, a senior land registrar in Thika, was being investigated for alleged misappropriation of public funds, abuse of office and unexplained wealth. The EACC said Mr Nyakundi acquired 106 properties scattered across the country, 17 motor vehicles and Sh4.6 million in cash, which was seized from him when officers raided his home.
