Meteorologist Gerry Murphy said temperatures will stay in double digits throughout the week, before turning colder on Friday and next weekend. Thunder and hail are possible on Wednesday, with possible heavy showers later and temperatures ranging between 11 and 14C. Cork City Fire Brigade have tackled a house fire in Ballyphehane this morning. The brigade attended the scene of the incident this Monday, after residents alerted them to a house fire on Clarke's Road. Two units from Anglesea Street responded to the scene shortly after 6.30am. The fire was quickly controlled, and no one was injured. A Garda spokesperson confirmed they attended the scene at a domestic residence.
