Two severe flood warnings previously issued for the River Monnow in south-east Wales for Monmouth and Skenfrith, have been lowered to warnings, meaning flooding is expected. Storm Bert severe flood warning. More than 150 flood warnings and 197 flood alerts have been issued by the Environment Agency in England, with a further 10 flood warnings and 21 flood alerts in place in Wales. Transport for Wales said all services between Pontypridd and Treherbert, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil are currently cancelled with disruption expected throughout Monday. More than 300 flights set to depart from UK airports were cancelled during Storm Bert, aviation analytics firm Cirium said.

Rape Crisis Network Ireland (RCNI) is urging retailers to stop selling Conor McGregor's stout and whiskey products after a civil court jury found him liable last week for the assault of Nikita Hand. Clíona Saidléar, RCNI executive director, said she believed the €250,000 damages awarded to Nikita Hand was a "drop in the ocean” for a man of McGregor's wealth. During the three-week civil case, McGregor posted Instagram pictures of himself with this Forged Irish Stout in a EuroSpar in the North. Earlier this year, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASAI) upheld a complaint that Forged Irish Stout breached advertising rules on sexualised content. The ASAI said there was no creative reason for this "other than to objectify the female models”.

Gardaí said there has been a “very significant ongoing public response” to their appeal, launched almost a year on from when the disorder broke out in Dublin on November 23rd. Of the 99 image stills from CCTV footage released on Tuesday, 32 are yet to be identified. Of the 28 vehicles damaged that night, 15 were official Garda cars and two belonged to the Dublin Fire Brigade. Of the 57 people arrested in connection with the public disorder to date, 53 had been charged.
