भास्कर न्यूज, पुणे। बेकायदा बाइक टैक्सी सेवाओं और ओला, उबर व रैपिडो कंपनियों की कथित मनमानी किराया नीति के विरोध में देशभर के कैब और ऑटो-रिक्शा चालक 7 फरवरी को एकदिवसीय देशव्यापी बंद पर जाएंगे। महाराष्ट्र सहित कई राज्यों में ओला, उबर और रैपिडो से जुड़े चालक इस बंद में शामिल होंगे।चालक संगठनों का आरोप है कि पिछले कई महीनों से वे आंदोलन और ज्ञापनों के जरिए अपनी समस्याएं सरकार तक पहुंचाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। परिवहन विभाग द्वारा संबंधित कंपनियों को सरकारी आदेशों का पालन करने के निर्देश दिए जाने के बावजूद अब तक कोई ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं की गई है।डॉ. केशव नाना क्षीरसागर (अध्यक्ष, महाराष्ट्र कामगार सभा / भारतीय गिग कामगार मंच) ने कहा कि बेकायदा बाइक टैक्सी सेवाओं के कारण मुंबई में कुछ नागरिकों की जान गई है और कई लोग स्थायी रूप से अपंग हुए हैं। चूंकि ये सेवाएं गैरकानूनी हैं, इसलिए दुर्घटना के शिकार यात्रियों को किसी भी प्रकार का बीमा लाभ नहीं मिलता, जो गंभीर चिंता का विषय है।उन्होंने बताया कि पैनिक बटन के नाम पर भी कैब चालकों से आर्थिक शोषण किया जा रहा है। केंद्र सरकार से मान्यता प्राप्त 140 पैनिक बटन सेवा प्रदाता कंपनियां मौजूद होने के बावजूद राज्य सरकार द्वारा लगभग 70 प्रतिशत कंपनियों को अनधिकृत घोषित कर दिया गया है। इसके चलते चालकों को पहले से लगे उपकरण हटाकर करीब 12 हजार रुपये खर्च कर नए उपकरण लगवाने पड़ रहे हैं।इसके अलावा, खुले ऑटो-रिक्शा परमिट नीति के कारण जरूरत से ज्यादा रिक्शा सड़कों पर उतर आए हैं, जिससे चालकों की आय बंट गई है और इसमें भारी गिरावट आई है। इससे यातायात जाम और सड़क संबंधी समस्याएं भी बढ़ी हैं।इन सभी मुद्दों पर सरकार का ध्यान आकर्षित करने और चालकों की न्यायोचित मांगों के समर्थन में यह देशव्यापी एकदिवसीय बंद आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

BENGALURU: Allied Health Science students of Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) staged a protest on the college campus on Wednesday, demanding payment of stipends during their compulsory internship year and highlighting long-standing issues related to infrastructure and teaching staff shortages. The students, pursuing BSc AHS under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), said their four-year course includes a mandatory one-year internship that is required to be paid. However, unlike MBBS and postgraduate medical students, AHS interns have not been receiving any stipend, despite working in government hospitals, including Victoria. Students said the issue has been raised by successive batches for over five to six years. They submitted representations to college authorities, administrative departments and the government, but received no concrete response.

A research team from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI), in collaboration with international experts, has announced the discovery of two new species of worms (polychaetes) from the coastal waters of West Bengal. The findings, centered in Digha and Bankiput regions of Purba Medinipur district, highlight the rich yet vulnerable marine biodiversity of the northern Bay of Bengal, a ZSI statement said on Thursday. भास्कर न्यूज, पिंपरी-चिंचवड़। ऑनलाइन गेमिंग के नाम पर अवैध रूप से जुआ खिलाने वाले एक युवक को चिखली पुलिस ने रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने आरोपी के पास से जुआ खेलने में इस्तेमाल की जा रही सामग्री और नकद रकम जब्त की है। यह कार्रवाई बुधवार, 4 फरवरी को दोपहर के समय तलवड़े के त्रिवेणीनगर चौक स्थित एक चद्दर के शेड में की गई।पुलिस द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार, गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान माहुल बाबासाहेब जावले (उम्र 30 वर्ष, निवासी ओटास्किम, निगडी, पुणे) के रूप में हुई है। आरोपी ‘फन एंड जॉय’ नामक ऑनलाइन गेम के जरिए लोगों से पैसे इकट्ठा कर जुआ खेल रहा था और अन्य लोगों को भी जुए के लिए प्रोत्साहित कर रहा था।चिखली पुलिस को इस अवैध गतिविधि की गुप्त सूचना मिली थी। इसके बाद पुलिस टीम ने जाल बिछाकर मौके पर छापा मारा और आरोपी को रंगे हाथों पकड़ लिया। छापेमारी के दौरान पुलिस ने आरोपी के कब्जे से जुआ सामग्री और नकद राशि सहित कुल 11 हजार 120 रुपये का माल जब्त किया।इस मामले में पुलिस कांस्टेबल विनोद व्होनमाने ने चिखली पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। आरोपी के खिलाफ संबंधित कानूनी धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है। पुलिस आगे की जांच कर रही है कि इस ऑनलाइन जुए के नेटवर्क में और कौन-कौन लोग शामिल हैं।
