राज्य ब्यूरो, पटना। राज्यसभा में अपने हिस्से की दो सीटों पर राजद की वापसी संभव नहीं लग रही। कारण विधानसभा का संख्या बल है। एनडीए की उपस्थिति इतनी तगड़ी है कि एक अदद सीट के लिए भी राजद को हजार पापड़ बेलने पड़ेंगे।एआईएमआईएम के पांचों विधायकों का साथ मिल जाए, तो भी दाल गलने से रही। इसके लिए भी महागठबंधन के सभी विधायकों को एकजुट रखना होगा, जो राजद के लिए कठिन चुनौती है। ऐसी स्थिति में पांचों सीटों पर एनडीए की जीत लगभग तय-सी है। हालांकि, उसके यहां भी घटक दलों की अपेक्षाओं के बीच संतुलन बनाने की चुनौती होगी। पांच सीटों में से दो राजद की बिहार से राज्यसभा की रिक्त हो रही पांच सीटों में से दो राजद की हैं। एक सीट अमरेंद्र धारी सिंह यानी एडी सिंह की है और दूसरी प्रेमचंद गुप्ता की। दो सीटें जदयू की हैं और एक राष्ट्रीय लोक मोर्चा (रालोमो) के उपेंद्र कुशवाहा की।जदयू से हरिवंश नारायण सिंह और रामनाथ ठाकुर का कार्यकाल पूरा हो रहा है। हरिवंश अभी राज्यसभा के उपसभापति हैं। अप्रैल में रिक्त हो रही इन पांचों सीटों के लिए एक साथ 16 मार्च को मतदान होना है। ऐसे में एक सीट भी मिलने की संभावना नहीं दिख रही।एक सीट के लिए 41 विधायकों का समर्थन कारण यह कि एक सीट के लिए भी 41 विधायकों का समर्थन चाहिए। इस बार तेजस्वी यादव सहित राजद के मात्र 25 विधायक हैं। कांग्रेस के छह, वामदलों के तीन और इंडियन इनक्लूसिव पार्टी (आईआईपी) के एकमात्र विधायक को जोड़कर महागठबंधन के विधायकों की कुल संख्या 35 की बनती है।एनडीए से इतर छह विधायकों को जोड़कर बेशक यह संख्या 41 की बनती है, लेकिन उसमें एक विधायक बसपा का है, जिसका समर्थन मिलने की संभावना कम है। दूसरों से सहयोग की गुंजाइश भी कम विधानसभा में एनडीए और महागठबंधन के इतर छह विधायक (पांच एआईएमआईएम और एक बसपा) हैं। समर्थन हेतु महागठबंधन आशान्वित हो सकता है, लेकिन राजनीतिक परिस्थितियां वहां भी आड़े आएगी। बसपा को रामगढ़ में जीत सतीश सिंह यादव ने दिलाई है। रामगढ़ में राजद प्रत्याशी के रूप में जगदानंद सिंह के पुत्र पराजित हुए हैं। बसपा समर्थन करे, तो हितों का टकराव होगा। वैसे भी बिहार में बसपा के विधायकों के सत्तारूढ़ गठबंधन के साथ चले जाने का रिकॉर्ड रहा है।

डिजिटल डेस्क, नई दिल्ली। बुधवार को कराची के सोल्जर बाजार इलाके में बड़ा हादसा हो गया। यहां एक रिहायशी बिल्डिंग में सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट की वजह तीन मंजिला ईमारत ढह गई।जिसमें महिलाओं और बच्चों समेत कम से कम 16 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 14 घायल हो गए। घायलों को सिविल हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया है। जहां उनका इलाज चल रहा है।पाकिस्तानी न्यूज वेबसाइट डॉन के मुताबिक, ASP जमशेद अशर ने बताया कि घटना सुबह करीब 4:15 बजे सेहरी के समय हुई। जब बिल्डिंग की पहली मंजिल पर सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट हुआ।कराची में सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट से इमारत ढहीरेस्क्यू टीम के एक अधिकारी के मुताबिक सर्च और रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन जारी है, जिसमें एक अर्बन सर्च और रेस्क्यू टीम और एक डिजास्टर रिस्पॉन्स गाड़ी मौके पर मौजूद है।रेस्क्यू 1122 के चीफ ऑपरेटिंग ऑफिसर डॉ. आबिद जलालुद्दीन शेख ने भी कन्फर्म किया कि सिलेंडर ब्लास्ट की वजह से ईमारत गिरी। उन्होंने बताया कि जगह कम होने की वजह से रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन मुश्किल हो गया था।रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक जिस बिल्डिंग में हादसा हुआ वह अवैध तरीके से बनाई गई थी। इसका स्ट्रक्चर ठीक से नहीं बना था। बिल्डिंग के गिरने से आस-पास के इमारतों को भी नुकसान पहुंचा है।इस हादसे में मरने वालों में आठ नाबालिग, चार महिलाएं और चार पुरुष शामिल हैं। जिनकी उम्र दो से 60 साल के बीच है। घायलों में सात नाबालिग शामिल हैं। CM ने नोटिस लिया; कुछ समय के लिए पुनर्वास का आदेश दिया गया

Former President Yoon Suk Yeol was sentenced to life in prison for his brief imposition of martial law in December 2024. As Yoon arrived in court, hundreds of police officers watched closely as Yoon supporters rallied outside a judicial complex, their cries rising as the prison bus transporting him drove past. Yoon, a staunch conservative, has defended his martial law decree as necessary to stop liberals, whom he described as "anti-state" forces, from obstructing his agenda with their legislative majority. Yoon was suspended from office on December 14, 2024, after being impeached by lawmakers and was formally removed by the Constitutional Court in April 2025. Last month, Yoon was sentenced to five years in prison for resisting arrest, fabricating the martial law proclamation and sidestepping a legally mandated full Cabinet meeting before declaring the measure.

A gas explosion ripped through an apartment building in Pakistan's largest port city of Karachi on Thursday, killing at least 13 people, including women and children, and injuring several others after part of the structure collapsed, police and rescue officials said. The explosion happened in a residential area of Karachi, the capital of Sindh province, local police chief Rizwan Patel said. Most houses and apartment buildings in Karachi, like elsewhere in Pakistan, are supplied with natural gas for cooking. However, many households also rely on liquefied petroleum gas cylinders because of low natural gas pressure. In July, a gas explosion following a wedding reception at a home in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, killed eight people, including the bride and groom.

Satna News: मैहर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के हरदासपुर में पूर्व सरपंच के बेटे की लाश हार्डवेयर दुकान में फांसी के फंदे पर लटकते मिलने से सनसनी फैल गई। पुलिस ने बताया कि देवेश सिंह पुत्र सुखेन्द्र सिंह 26 वर्ष, बीते काफी समय से सरलानगर मार्ग पर हार्डवेयर की दुकान चला रहे थे।बुधवार को भी वह घर से दुकान पर आए, लेकिन शाम के समय जब परिजन ने फोन पर संपर्क किया तो बात नहीं हो पाई। ऐसे में रात करीब साढ़े 8 बजे घर का कोई सदस्य दुकान पर पहुंचा तो देवेश की लाश सीलिंग फैन के हुक पर फंदे से लटकती मिली, जिसकी सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को दी गई तो थाना प्रभारी अनिमेष द्विवेदी समेत पुलिस टीम घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर जांच में जुट गई।इसी बीच मृतक के परिवारजनों ने गांव के ही कुछ लोगों पर पुरानी रंजिश के चलते हत्या कर लाश फंदे पर लटका देने का आरोप लगा दिया, जिसको देखते हुए रात में शव को नीचे उतारने की बजाय घटना स्थल को सील कर दिया।अब गुरुवार सुबह फॉरेंसिक टीम के आने पर लाश नीचे उतारने के साथ दुकान में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे के फुटेज भी खंगाले जाएंगे।

Supreme Court questions states’ “freebies” policies amid fiscal stress The observations came as the Supreme Court took note of a plea by Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd, which has proposed to provide free electricity to all consumers irrespective of their financial status. "Most of the states in the country are revenue-deficient states, and yet they are offering such freebies", overlooking development, the bench said. The bench said states should work to create employment opportunities rather than providing free food, cycles, and electricity to all. If you start giving free food from morning to evening, then free cycle, then free electricity, then who will work, and then what will happen to the work culture," the CJI asked. The Supreme Court, however, issued notice to the Centre and others on the petition.
