भास्कर न्यूज, पुणे । पुणे-बेंगलुरु हाईवे पर मंगलवार तड़के एक भीषण सड़क हादसे में ट्रक चालक की मौत हो गई, जबकि बस में सवार कई यात्री घायल हो गए। दुर्घटना सुबह करीब 4 बजे कात्रज सुरंग से नवले ब्रिज की ओर जाने वाले मार्ग पर जांभुलवाड़ी घाटी पुल के पास हुई।प्राप्त प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, लोहे के पाइप और सरियों से भरा एक ट्रक कात्रज सुरंग से नवले ब्रिज की दिशा में जा रहा था। इसी दौरान ट्रक ने आगे चल रही बस को पीछे से जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि ट्रक का अगला केबिन पूरी तरह चकनाचूर हो गया।पुलिस अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, बस में सवार चार से पांच यात्रियों को मामूली चोटें आईं। सभी घायलों को तत्काल नजदीकी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। गंभीर रूप से घायल ट्रक चालक की उपचार के दौरान मौत हो गई।हादसे के बाद ट्रक का क्लीनर केबिन में लोहे की सरियों के बीच फंस गया, जिससे राहत एवं बचाव कार्य में बाधा आई। दमकल विभाग के कर्मचारियों ने कटर की मदद से उसे बाहर निकाला। उसकी हालत के बारे में फिलहाल कोई आधिकारिक जानकारी नहीं मिल सकी है।सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस, दमकल विभाग और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण की टीमें मौके पर पहुंच गईं। दुर्घटना के कारण हाईवे पर लंबा जाम लग गया और सुबह के समय भी वाहनों की लंबी कतारें देखी गईं।पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर दुर्घटना के कारणों की जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्रारंभिक आशंका है कि तेज रफ्तार या ब्रेक फेल होने की वजह से हादसा हुआ हो सकता है, हालांकि वास्तविक कारण जांच के बाद ही स्पष्ट हो पाएगा।

भास्कर न्यूज, पुणे। शहर के खराडी क्षेत्र में बढ़ते ध्वनि प्रदूषण के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए खराड़ी पुलिस स्टेशन ने मंगलवार को विशेष अभियान चलाकर 45 मोटरसाइकिलें जब्त कीं। इन वाहनों में लगाए गए मॉडिफाइड साइलेंसर तेज पटाखा जैसी आवाज उत्पन्न कर रहे थे, जिससे स्थानीय नागरिकों को भारी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।पुलिस को क्षेत्र के निवासियों से लगातार शिकायतें मिल रही थीं कि कुछ युवक अपनी बाइकों, विशेषकर रॉयल एनफील्ड बुलेट समेत अन्य दोपहिया वाहनों में कंपनी द्वारा लगाए गए मूल साइलेंसर हटाकर अवैध रूप से संशोधित साइलेंसर लगवा रहे हैं। ये साइलेंसर जानबूझकर तेज और कर्कश ध्वनि उत्पन्न करने के लिए तैयार किए गए थे।मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुलिस ने मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के तहत कार्रवाई करते हुए नियमित गश्त के दौरान कई स्थानों पर जाल बिछाकर आरोपियों को पकड़ा। जब्त की गई 45 मोटरसाइकिलों से मौके पर ही मॉडिफाइड साइलेंसर हटवाए गए और चालकों को कंपनी-स्वीकृत मूल साइलेंसर दोबारा लगवाने के निर्देश दिए गए। साथ ही संबंधित वाहन चालकों के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई भी शुरू की गई है।अभियान के दौरान जब्त किए गए मॉडिफाइड साइलेंसरों को बुलडोजर चलाकर पूरी तरह नष्ट कर दिया गया, ताकि भविष्य में इस प्रकार की पुनरावृत्ति न हो और कड़ा संदेश दिया जा सके।यह कार्रवाई पुणे शहर पुलिस के अतिरिक्त पुलिस आयुक्त (पूर्व क्षेत्रीय विभाग) मनोज पाटिल, पुलिस उपायुक्त (जोन-7) सोमय मुंडे और सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त (खराडी विभाग) प्रांजली सोनावणे के मार्गदर्शन में की गई। अभियान का नेतृत्व वरिष्ठ पुलिस निरीक्षक संजय चव्हाण ने किया, जबकि पुलिस उपनिरीक्षक राहुल कोलपे तथा अन्य पुलिसकर्मियों की टीम ने इसे सफलतापूर्वक अंजाम दिया।
