Out of a total of 2,209 votes cast, 1,040 representing 47.08% were in support of the campaign. 635 people representing 28.75% also supported the campaign but said they will not show up at protesting grounds. 490 people representing 22.18% think the campaign is needless while the minority of 44% were sitting on the fence. The #FixTheCountry campaigners had wanted to hit the streets of Accra on Sunday, May 9, 2021, but it couldn't come on.

Government on Friday, May 7, 2021, took delivery of 350,000 doses of the vaccines to begin the second round of jabs. But Dr Kuma-Aboagye explained that not all persons who took the first shot are due for the second jab hence the decision to give it those who qualify. He said that some persons have clocked the 12 weeks mark and will be given priority to them. According to Chairman Wontumi, he finances contracts through loan facilities he acquires from banks. Chairman Wontumi has accused Road’s Minister of not awarding him any contracts even though he is the only NPP man who has ventured into road construction. Mr Antwi Boasisko questioned why he is not awarded contracts but others like Messrs Jacob, Attachy Construction, and Kofi Job were awarded all the contracts. Chairman Wontumi noted that the road construction industry is a capital-intensive one for which he pays 10% to colleague contractors like Akwasi Addai Odike and Kofi Akpaloo to take over contracts awarded them.
