According to him, the country used the stabilization fund to help tackle the situation by providing foods, water and electricity among others to the people. At the Doninga Junior High School, school authorities have moved the students to an old pavilion that was previously used by the lower primary. Headmaster of the Doninga Junior High Schools, Godwin Amwagsi, said the situation is seriously affecting effective teaching and learning at his school. “Currently, we are been hosted in one of the old structures of the Doninga primary school while we wait for intervention from the District Assembly and Education directorate. The situation is affecting us very seriously because that old structure does not have windows and doors. I also wrote a situational report to the DCE through the education director and I am hoping that they also do something.

Madam Agyei, a farmer, narrates to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) from her hospital bed that her husband, Yakubu Naru, refused to provide food and housekeeping money and yet wanted to be served food. She said food has always been a problem for them and she has to manage to prepare food for the children and starve herself. She said anytime her husband returns home and there was no food for him, she becomes the cause and receives beatings on regular instances. The suspect, a farmer, has since gone into hiding upon hearing that the case has been reported to the Nkwanta South Police. Superintendent of Police, Mr Lawson Lartey, the Nkwanta South Municipal Police Commander, who confirmed the incident assured that the suspect would be arrested and brought to justice.

The Speaker was addressing a Kenyan Parliamentary Delegation on Defense and Foreign Relations led by Hon. Speaker Alban Bagbin used the occasion to reiterate his call for increased cooperation among sub-Saharan countries and their counterparts in the East. GhanaWeb's police sources revealed that Prosper Negble during police investigations said he stabbed Believe Sackitey, 28, after disarming her when she attempted stabbing him with a knife she had in her bag. This was during a misunderstanding between the two following two phone calls Believe received when the two were lodging in the guest house. While at the guest house, suspect told police that his estranged girlfriend received a call, apparently from a man which generated into minor exchanges between the two. However, Believe received a second phone call later on in the night which the suspect didn't take kindly to. BackgroundA District Magistrate Court in Somanya presided over by His Lordship, Justice A.
