We submitted a proposal and we received the letter from the then minister of aviation saying that ET has been selected to be a partner to set up Nigeria Air. Nigeria Air was established before we were invited and had started processing the Air Operators Certificate (AOC), so, when we came in, it was a matter of restructuring the ownership. We are still willing to support the government in starting the national carrier but we leave the decision to them. Our goal is not to kill Nigerian airlines. Among other prayers, the airlines want the court to stop the national carrier deal and withdraw the Air Transport License already issued to Nigeria Air by the Federal Government/Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

The original West Side Bazaar at Grant and Ferry streets, founded by the Westminster Economic Development Initiative in 2011, almost immediately created a strong buzz throughout the region. Specialty retailers have also found a home at the West Side Bazaar, introducing traditional items from Africa, Sri Lanka and other international wares. After the Grant Street location closed, some of the businesses were able to relocate at the former Expo Market adjacent to the Market Arcade at 617 Main St. Thus, Niagara Street gains a popular culinary attraction, adding to the ongoing revitalization of this essential urban artery, and the Theatre District retains important dining choices. Both the downtown and Niagara Street locations of this rich asset are improving the quality of life for everyone who lives, visits – and eats – in Western New York.

Ethiopia has no intention of invading another country and "will never assert its interests through war", assured its Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Thursday, a few days after a speech that raised concerns about Addis Ababa's possible claims to the Red Sea. "Our recent request for access to the sea has raised fears that Ethiopia is leading an invasion. I want to assure you that Ethiopia will not assert its interests through war", continued the Ethiopian Prime Minister. Modern Ethiopia briefly had access to the Red Sea when it gradually annexed Eritrea, a former Italian colony, in the 1950s.
