A recent research conducted by GSMA Intelligence with support from Huawei revealed that 80% of consumers surveyed across 16 countries now view climate change as the world’s No. Around 56% of Saudi consumers stated that they were willing to pay more to ride in a carbon-neutral taxi, vs. 40% of consumers in other countries. Consumer perceptions are therefore firmly aligned with the scientific consensus that climate change is the single, most crucial, long-term challenge faced by the world. The inclination toward such “green purchasing” appeared to be greatest in countries that are most exposed to extreme weather conditions induced by climate change. We have loved the myth of Hollywood, its glamour, the magical moments, the red carpet looks, and the awards; however, Hollywood was never a place of freedom and equality. Blacklisting in the 1930s, 40s, and 50sHere’s somewhat of a summary of Hollywood blacklisting in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Hollywood has shown its true face and is exposed for the double standards they follow, from censoring actors, blacklisting people to signing letters to Biden in support of the No Hostage Left Behind Act. In Hollywood, freedom is here but only for those who follow the status quo with no questions asked. Hollywood may not be ending right now, but the cracks of their hypocrisy are shown and people will not forget this.

London CNN —Oil and gas producers must confront a “pivotal” choice: continue to accelerate the climate crisis or become part of the solution, the International Energy Agency said in a report Thursday. “The oil and gas industry is facing a moment of truth at COP28 in Dubai,” IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol said in a statement. The first is reducing planet-heating pollution from its own operations, such as extracting oil and gas from the ground, processing the fuels and delivering them to consumers. This pollution needs to be cut by more than 60 percent by 2030 from today’s level, the IEA report says. Such an increase would mean a radical change in how oil and gas firms spend their cash.
