CAIRO – 25 May 2021: Integrated Diagnostics Holding Company announced that it has obtained a financing package of $ 45 million from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). On May 20, The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) welcomed the new listing of Integrated Diagnostics Holding Company (IDH), listed in London Stock Exchange under the code IDHC. Mohamed Farid, Executive Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange, expressed his enthusiasm for the listing of Integrated Diagnostics Holding Company, the second listing in EGX during the year, and the first dual listing with London Stock Exchange in the medical sector. He pointed out that the company has a market capitalization of more than $650 million, adding great appeal to the Egyptian market. The Long Live Egypt (Tahya Misr) Fund has announced of a second convey to the Rafah land crossing to deliver Egyptian aid to Gaza on Tuesday, as part of the Egyptian initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to support and rebuild the Gaza strip. The fund explained that this comes less than 48 hours after the arrival of the first convoy for the fund to Gaza, which included 130 containers. The fund activated bank account (037037 – Gaza Reconstruction) in all Egyptian banks to receive contributions and donations in local and foreign currencies as well as receive contributions online. The Long Live Egypt Fund works as a collaborator for state agencies and as an umbrella for community work to support the most vulnerable families, alongside confronting disasters and other crises. These Gaza Strip support convoys and are the first of its kind that crosses the fund’s services across Egypt’s borders.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Talal Abu Ghazaleh Global Group have launched the first production lines for Arab-made tablets and laptops in Egypt. These production lines are established according to the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as part of the Arab Organization for Industrialization’s plan to partner with major international companies. The Arab Organization for Industrialization is one of the pillars of the military industry in Egypt, as it supervises nine military factories that produce civilian goods as well as military products. The authority was established in 1975 in cooperation between Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, to build and supervise a joint military defense manufacturing base. The authority fully owns 12 factories and shares in two joint ventures, in addition to the Arab Institute for Advanced Technologies.

A high-level delegation led by Qatari Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani arrived in Cairo on Tuesday for a two-day visit. Thani will meet with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, to discuss Egyptian-Qatari relations along with regional development, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Egypt and Qatar met in Kuwait in February for the first time since ending the years-long diplomatic freeze between the two countries in January. The countries agreed to reconcile during the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)’s summit meeting in al-Ula, Saudi Arabia in January. Following the reconciliation, Egypt’s Aviation Ministry reopened Egypt’s airspace to Qatari flights on January 12.
