CAIRO – 3 June 2023: The Egyptian General Meteorological Authority (EGM), one of the bodies affiliated with the Ministry of Civil Aviation, won a seat in the Executive Council of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) for a four-year period from 2023 to 2027. The elections were held at the 19th session of the Geneva-based World Meteorological Congress, with the participation of 163 countries. "Search, inspection and security measures are being taken in the zone," the spokesman said, affirming that legal measures are also being taken with regard to the incident.
