Egypt’s New Administrative Capital (NAC) has hosted the first serious action towards regulating the real estate marketing sector as a step towards organizing and pushing property export by receiving experts from Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute in Dubai to give the first training course of its kind in Egypt to real estate marketers. The event was held under the auspices of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD) company, and was organized by TSM Mall Management. The Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute is the educational arm of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA), which is affiliated to the Dubai Land Department. CEO of the Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute Mohamed Moussa said that Egypt has a large base of distinguished real estate companies with expertise and a wide variety of real estate products. The Adha honors the day when Prophet Ibrahim -peace be upon him- was ordered to sacrifice his son, Ismael, and because of his obedience, God substituted Ismael with a ram, and this day has become a feast for Muslims since that day.

CAIRO – 29 June 2023: Egypt's Ambassador to Brussels Badr Abdel Aty met with European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarcic to discuss the issue of migrant flow into Egypt and the commission's role in providing them with humanitarian and developmental support. According to the statement released Thursday, Ambassador Abdel Aty underscored that Egypt hosts nine million migrants. On his side, the European commissioner expressed appreciation to the efforts deployed by Egypt to host large numbers of Sudanese refugees, lauding the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian Red Crescent in particular. That is in addition to the results of the Seventh Brussels Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region. Ambassador Abdel Aty pointed out that Egypt had provided Syria with 1,500 tons of aid in the aftermath of the deadly earthquake that hit the country earlier this year.

CAIRO - 28 June 2023: Civil defense forces on Wednesday recovered a tenth body from the rubble of a building that collapsed in Alexandria on Monday. The search is still on for more victims under the collapsed 14-storey building. Four people, including a paramedic, were injured in the vicinity of the building that is located on Khalil Hamada Street in Montazah neighborhood. Ten ambulances were deployed to the area, which is now cordoned off to prevent passers-by from approaching the scene.

Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar permanently banned smoking in all Egyptian health facilities – those providing treatment, preventive or rehabilitative services – and any bodies affiliated to the Ministry of Health. The move aims to preserve the health and safety of citizens from the dangers of smoking. Abdel Ghaffar said that the decision to ban smoking also comes to implement the provisions of Law #154 of 2007, which was amended by some provisions of Law #52 of 1982. These laws govern the prevention of smoking harms, and includes a final ban on smoking of all kinds within various health and educational facilities, government agencies, clubs, social centers, youth centers and others. The director in charge of these facilities is committed to taking the necessary measures to prevent smoking within these facilities as per the decision.

House of Representatives member Hanaa Anis Rizkallah filed an Oral Question with the house for Civil Aviation Minister, regarding the causes behind EgyptAir dropping out from the list of the top 10 Arab and African airliners based on the Skytrax classification. “What EgyptAir witnessed, in terms of challenges, are almost similar to Arab and African airlines, and we find that our national company came out of the list of the 100 best companies in the world according to the classification of Skytrax, which included 11 Arab companies,” she explained.
