That compares to Viasat’s fleet of five satellites that are focused mostly on the Americas. Starlink said in a Twitter post that it now has 1.5 million customers worldwide, up from 250,000 in March 2022. Viasat and Inmarsat are punching back with powerful, higher orbit satellites — including the terabit-class Viasat-3 fleet, which can dynamically steer bandwidth to where there’s the most demand. Both Viasat and Inmarsat have a solid foothold in supplying commercial airlines with in-flight Wi-Fi — with customers including Delta, American, United, JetBlue and Southwest airlines. Conservative commentator Joey Mannarino recently took aim at Chick-fil-A for its appointment of a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) VP. Though DEI VP Erick McReynolds has held the position since 2021, critics like Mannarino have sparked renewed interest in the appointment. The conservative commentator conducted a poll with more than 110,000 submissions asking followers whether to boycott Chick-fil-A, with 53% voting no. Mannarino called on his followers to participate in “Boycott Month” targeting brands that prioritise DEI initiatives. Shapovalov, meanwhile, was playing on Court 12, with only a narrow walkway separating his match from a women’s match. “Obviously (Alcaraz is) a great player everywhere, but especially on clay courts,” Shapovalov said after the win. “Everyone knows the level of Denis Shapovalov,” Alcaraz said. Fernandez, like Shapovalov, has had a lamentable start to 2023, and like Shapovalov has been dealing with injuries. All four teams are out, and what could’ve been enormous betting interest has largely waned. 8 seed Miami Heat will face an NBA Finals newcomer in the Denver Nuggets, an enormous minus-460 favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. David Lieberman, who oversees NBA betting for Caesars, said the Celtics didn’t attract a lot of futures action, limiting the book’s liability. Adding Las Vegas to the NHL was an initial betting boost for the league, but that effect is less noticeable with the spread of legalized sports betting. The NHL is noticeably behind the NFL and NBA in betting interest, but is in the next tier, largely thanks to the Knights’ run to the 2018 Stanley Cup Final.
