They told the meeting that the blended learning program under this method involve the creation of different groups and stations for various activities and lessons. Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh Research Network Muhammad Tourit discussed the issue while presenting his keynote paper titled "Blended Learning Roadmap: Cost Modelling and Estimation". Taking part in group-works, either vice-chancellors or their representatives from 10 public and 10 private universities put forward a set of recommendations on how to formulate a master plan accurately. Discussions were held based on the information and data received from the group works in the third phase of the workshop elaborately.

Four people have been killed and another person injured after lightning strikes in different locations in Narsingdi, reports bdnews24.com. The incidents occurred in the Sadar Upazila's Alokbali and Shahartali's Hajipur areas on Saturday morning, according to Narsingdi Sadar Police Station OC Tanvir Ahmed. The dead were identified as Sufia Begum, 35, and her son Emon Mia, 10, from Alokbali village; rice harvesting worker Quayyum Mia, 20, from Raipura's Baghaikandi; and Mosleh Uddin, 55, from the Hajipur area. "My wife, son, a labourer, and I went to the fields in the morning to cut down paddy," he said. Locals rescued them and rushed them to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, where a doctor declared Sufia, Emon, and Quayyum dead.

A Bangladeshi pilgrim who travelled to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj has died in Madinah, reports bdnews24.com. The information was provided in a bulletin released by the Ministry of Religious Affairs at 03:00 am on Saturday. He is the first Bangladeshi to die during this year's Hajj journeys. In a circular issued on Wednesday, the central bank stated that it considers disseminating information to the public a top priority. It said any journalist could get information and take BB statements at the main building of the central bank during the official hours through communication with the assigned officials. At the same time, it said, the central bank kept on disseminating information through holding press conferences, issuing press releases and other ways on a regular basis. Simultaneously, the BB had been regularly publishing all the economic information and data on its website to ensure free access to information, the BB statement said.
