Pedestrians cross the street using the newly installed Barnes Dance on the corner of Princes St and the Octagon yesterday. Another one will be installed on the corner of George St and the Octagon today. The last Barnes Dance in Dunedin was in place at Cargills Corner in the 1980s. People still needed to be mindful of the new phasing but from the council's point of view the installation had gone smoothly, Mr Saunders said. ``We'll get through the busy weekend coming up, then we'll start looking at dates for the next ones.''
