A three-year-old baby from Gia Lai Province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands region died of rabies on Monday after he was bitten by a cat about one month ago, a local health official confirmed the same day. Since his health condition then worsened, he was rushed to the Chu Se Medical Center at 1:34 pm on Sunday before being transferred to the Gia Lai Children’s Hospital to receive further treatment on the same day.
