They include the Labor Department, Health and Human Services Department, State Department, Education Department, Transportation Department, Defense Department, and Housing and Urban Development Department. President Donald Trump is mentioned more than 1,000 times in the three million Jeffrey Epstein documents released Friday, after the president initially resisted the effort. Congress ultimately bucked Trump and passed a law forcing the Justice Department to release all of the Epstein files by mid-December. Blanche said Friday the White House had “no oversight” of the review of documents related to the Epstein investigation. This led to a drumbeat of Republican lawmakers calling for the full release of the Epstein files. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-California) speaks during a press conference to discuss the Epstein Files Transparency bill on Capitol Hill, September 3, 2025.

She reprised the role in 2024’s “Beetlejuice.”In 1990’s “Home Alone,” O’Hara turned a one-word movie line (“KEVIN!”) into pop culture history. As a frazzled mom of five who left one of her brood (Macaulay Culkin) at home during their holiday trip to France, O’Hara brought heart and humour to the now classic Christmas movie. Just two years ago, O’Hara showed up to the Walk of Fame ceremony as her on-screen son Culkin, received his star. “Thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once, but twice, to share in this happy occasion,” O’Hara told him. Star Pedro Pascal called O’Hara a “genius” on a tribute posted to his Instagram page.

Every day, ICE agents drive by Valley View Elementary School at pick-up time, when children are walking outside and teachers are trying to protect them. They follow parents driving other people’s kids home; those kids’ families are too scared to leave their houses. Doors are thrown open and the cars are sometimes still running, but there’s nobody in them — ICE agents ripped the people out of them and whisked them away. ICE agents allegedly used Liam as bait to detain his father, who is not in the country illegally and has no criminal record. He was on his way to high school, alone, when ICE agents stopped his car.

EO4USC said... ( original post ) I’m so tired of hearing sports announcers say “College football is so much better when LSU (or insert other blue blood school) is winning big”. College football is so much better when SoCal is great. College football is so much better when Notre Dame is great. College football is so much better when Miami is great. College football is great no matter who is good or bad in a particular year or decade.

One of the things I began by asking you was the degree to which Davos this year — it’s not that something that happened at Davos ended the old order. Or are we just in a possibly quite dangerous interregnum where nothing is quite structured or stable. I think, I mean, I’m on, I’m like, I’m dying on the hill that we’re not even, not even in an interregnum like. So I, when Germans ask me — Germans are really addicted to this order thinking; there’s even a school of German economics called ordoliberalism — I always try and push back on this and say, if you’re looking for order, you’ll never see it. But if you’re looking for ordering attempts, actions, the pragmatic approach, as you say, it’s all around us already, all the time.

Together, the works represent some of the earliest examples of realistic portrait painting still in existence today. The auction house has sold upwards of 15 Fayum portraits over the years, but she said this lot is the most compelling one they’ve offered since 2007. That year, a mummy portrait of a young man with curly hair sold for $936,000, more than triple its high estimate. Fayum portraits sell for tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Olsman recalled when the chairman of Sotheby’s Americas division, George Wachter, first saw the mummy portrait going up for sale this month.

Washington —Democratic election officials are preparing for potential federal government intrusion in the midterms, as President Donald Trump’s appointees escalate their efforts to find evidence for his long-debunked election fraud claims. The Trump administration has pushed to alter election ground rules ahead of the midterms, including with an executive order last year that has been partially blocked in court. The erosion of bipartisanship has cut both ways among the state election community. Republican West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner told CNN he has “no fear” of federal interference in the 2026 elections. His brother, former West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner, joined the Trump administration last year as a senior Justice Department official.

A former software engineer at Google has been convicted of stealing artificial intelligence trade secrets for the benefit of China, the U.S. Department of Justice said. A federal jury on Thursday convicted Linwei Ding, 38, of seven counts of economic espionage and seven counts of theft of trade secrets after an 11-day trial in the U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California. Boots Non-clean girl makeupWe hope you love the products we recommend! Just so you know, HuffPost UK may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI – prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication. This isn’t exactly the hottest of takes anymore, but I never liked the term ‘clean girl’. It’s been an absolutely huge trend for the early 2020s – once you’ve read the words ‘clean girl’, chances are you’re picturing a slicked-back hairdo, short nude manicure, perfectly glowing skin with (allegedly) barely a sniff of makeup on it, and a perpetual uniform of yoga gear.
