Still can’t get my head around bringing this to Switch but not PS4. I also think it’s funny how this comes to switch quietly to the journalists downplaying Sony looking outside their console base more and more. Sure they are doing it slower than Xbox. Yet Phil Spencer got ripped on here for when he said games will be distributed differently in the future. If i remember correctly it was said on here that he should speak for his own brand and not the “winning brand” that won’t do that and before everyone jumps on me and just say’s it’s only a Lego game.

Trump Steals Spotlight While Harris Avoids Al Smith Dinner Drama The divide between Trump and Harris deepens at New York's annual charity gala as political tensions resurface. Donald Trump and Kamala Harris were both present—a bit of a stretch—at the recent Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, but their attendance took different forms. Trump took the stage for nearly half an hour, employing the dinner's tradition of lighthearted jest, whereas Harris opted for the usual course of sending out pre-recorded remarks. Held annually to raise funds for Catholic charities, the Al Smith Dinner has been traditionally dominated by bipartisan fun, where attendees often let loose with comedic jabs at each other. The Al Smith Dinner didn’t just represent two candidates meeting around charity; it embodied the kind of political face-off reflective of something greater as America inches toward the 2024 election.

It seems the modern day GOP also favors performance over productivity when it comes to disaster relief. FEMA personnel on the ground are actively coordinating with local officials, conducting damage assessments, and helping individuals apply for disaster assistance programs. Federal assistance for those affected by the hurricanes includes $722 million to support survivors with housing repairs, personal property replacement and other essential recovery efforts. Such false claims are part of a wave of misinformation that has hampered hurricane recovery efforts across the Southeast. They do succeed at distracting people form getting help they deserve – help from a government that actually cares, and wants to do the work that performative MAGA GOP politicians now abhor.

Unless you’ve worked for an area media outlet, you probably haven’t heard of the Metropolitan Media Softball League, which has pitted teams from local and national outlets against one another going back to 1991. Now that corner of the media universe is captured in a new book, Jim Barnett’s Playing Games at CNN, a memoir of his time coaching the network’s team from 1998 to 2007. His write-ups capture the fun, as well as the slog, of being in a softball league. Players left the field to go work in their softball uniforms; star shortstop John King reported by cell phone as he played. The people who show up for softball games in Kensington aren’t typically the ones who appear in Playbook.
