The New York Giants have already lost an assistant coach off the 31-person staff head coach John Harbaugh announced on Friday. Matt Robinson, hired by Harbaugh as assistant defensive line coach, is heading to the Las Vegas Raiders as the team’s secondary coach. During that time he filled positions as assistant defensive line coach and then outside linebackers coach. He worked with the Giants as a defensive assistant and then as assistant outside linebackers coach from 2013-2018. Leonard was outside linebackers coach in Baltimore in 2022, where he became familiar with Robinson.

A storm moved into Southern California early Monday, with the heaviest rainfall expected by afternoon.
