HAMBURG, GERMANY - JANUARY 31: Luka Vuskovic of Hamburger SV celebrates following the team’s draw in the Bundesliga match between Hamburger SV and FC Bayern München at Volksparkstadion on January 31, 2026 in Hamburg, Germany. (Photo by Selim Sudheimer/Getty Images) Getty ImagesTottenham Hotspur loanee Luka Vušković was rumored to be on Bayern Munich’s radar before his Hamburger SV squad pulled off a shocking 2-2 draw with the Bavarians on Saturday. Vušković won 2 of 3 ground duels, 3 of 4 aerial duels, blocked 1 shot, had 7 clearances, and 9 overall defensive contributions. Well, Tottenham Hotspur might put a hefty price tag on the boy and that could end up being a deterrent for the cost-conscious Bavarians. Little did they know that Cape Verde was in the midst of an outbreak of a contagious pathogen that would leave holidaymakers severely unwell. The UK Health Security Agency recorded 137 cases between October and December — 80 per cent of patients had recently returned from Cape Verde. Jatinder Paul, a lawyer representing the claimants, described the repeated sickness of tourists in Cape Verde as “nothing short of a scandal”.

It is this passion for literacy that has inspired Parton, now 80, to pledge her support for The Sunday Times Get Britain Reading campaign. Speaking about her reading programme on her Imagination Library website, Parton said: “Before he passed away, my Daddy told me the Imagination Library was probably the most important thing I had ever done. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me because I created the Imagination Library as a tribute to my Daddy. In America, this is the first book children receive through the programme. On Tuesday, experts in education and psychology will give evidence on the benefits of children reading for pleasure, as MPs begin a new inquiry on the subject.
