QUETTA – At least five people died and five others injured in a road accident that occurred on Quetta-Chaman highway, district administration said on Tuesday. They said that Quetta-bound fielder passenger car fell into a ravine near Sheilabagh due to high speed. Resultantly, five people sitting in the car died instantly while five received critical injuries. Soon after the incident, local administration reached the site and shifted the ill-fated passengers to Chaman Maizai Ada Hospital. The PDMA and local administration had launched rescue operation following which body of one of the missing youth was found.

The Balochistan government on Tuesday imposed section 144 in the province amid forecasts of more heavy rains. Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the second day of Eidul Azha on Monday. According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were martyred by Indian troops during cordon and search operation in Wandakpora area of Pulwama district. A police team from the Nowgam police station in Srinagar came to their house at around 9:30 am on Saturday, according to the family. “A policeman told me that Muslim was being probed in a case of theft and that they will set him free soon.
