Robertsports, Grand Cape Mount County – Natives of Grand Cape Mount County, under the banner “Citizens of Cape Mount against the Interference of Sierra Leoneans & citizens from Other Counties into Their Electoral Processes” have called for the immediate exit of the Election Magistrate assigned to the county over allegations of voter fraud. The move, the group said was vehemently opposed by residents of several towns in Cape Mount including Litia Town in the Commonwealth Administrative District, Daniel Town in Garwula District and Jenneh Liberia in Tewor Disrtict. Meanwhile, the group’s warning comes in the wake of probing of three magistrates of the National Elections Commission assigned in Bomi, Grand Gedeh and Grand Cape Mount counties. Armah, on the other hand, was accused of being involved in voter trucking on behalf of a politician who is a senatorial aspirant in the county.

MONROVIA – United Bank for Africa Liberia Limited strongly refutes speculations that it has in its possession CCTV footage capturing the death of two employees of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA). The Bank would like the public to know that while it is true that UBA has CCTV camera on its premises, the location where the bodies of the deceased were found doesn’t fall within the bank’s camera’s range of coverage. As an institution that operates within the confines of the law, UBA would have supported the Government’s investigation efforts by providing such footage, had there been any in its possession. The bank also wishes to make it categorically clear that at no point in time has any of its staff members been harassed or intimidated by State Security Operatives to produce footage from the bank’s CCTV coverage, as it is also being speculated. The management of UBA Liberia hereby calls on the general public and news outlets to refrain from spreading false and unfounded information about the Bank.

Gbarnga, Bong County – The grounds of the administration building, the official seat of the leadership of Bong County, now looks unkempt and rough with waist-high grasses growing all around the building. Most of our cocoa lose value after they are harvested.”The Liberian National Cocoa Sector Public-Private Platform, also known as the NC3P, is apublic-private platform that has played a significant role in the visioning, coordination, and facilitation of some key interventions within the cocoa sector.
