The Ministry of Interior now says that the death toll from the recent floods has reached 277. This is even as 75 persons remain missing. Detectives have appealed to the husband of slain Ohangla dancer Sheila Odoyo alias Sheila Wegesha to surrender. The detectives handling the murder said Jackson Bambo, 45, is wanted over the murder of Sheila in her house in Athi River on Thursday morning. The appeal came after police recovered a car that Bambo was using after her murder in Athi River, Machakos county. Police said her daughter aged 18, stumbled on the body of her mother in bed and raised an alarm. The couple has been having squabbles for some time, which is believed to have led to the murder.
