A lobby has petitioned the High Court challenging an agreement reached by the government with Indian firm Adani Group for the construction of three transmission lines and two substations. The Commission for Human Rights and Justice says due process was not followed prior to the Public-Private Partnership Agreement. It seeks to have the court issue an order directing ketraco to conduct extensive public participation with regard to the agreement.
