Bradley Walsh couldn't help but slam contestant Damien (pictured) on Tuesday's episode of The Chase for his 'ridiculous' answer to a question - but would you have got it right? Unbelievably, the contestant chose baby...Perhaps unsurprisingly, the answer shocked Bradley, who stood looked at the player open-mouthed, and said: 'Wow'. Of the correct answer, Bradley added: 'It's one of those poor unfortunate ones, where its tongue is always sticking out and it's not the prettiest animal.' Still not over Damien's answer, Bradley couldn't help but point out hat he would have been in a good position in the game if he had opted for a more sensible answer.

Australia selector Tony Dodemaide has revealed that the team’s leadership group will conduct a full-scale investigation into Australia’s failings at the 2026 T20 World Cup. The 2021 champions were sensationally knocked out of the World Cup on Tuesday after Ireland’s clash against Zimbabwe in Pallekele was rained off. ‘If the IPL was first and the World Cup was second, they’d be missing the IPL to play in the World Cup,’ he explained. Those selected as part of the World Cup squad then travelled to Lahore to face off against Pakistan in a three-match T20I warm-up series ahead of the World Cup. ‘We will do the requisite planning to look at 2028; we've got 2027 50-over World Cup in the meantime.

Russia imports Irish components for 'kamikaze drones' used in UkraineRussia has been importing electronic components from Ireland to go towards the building of "kamikaze drones" used against civilian targets in Ukraine, an Irish Times investigation has found. In a 15-month period, beginning in January 2024, just under 10 tonnes of components from Irish companies reached Russia, according to The Irish Times. Irish companies were not directly responsible for the shipments, with wholesale and export companies responsible, particularly from China. "The material included 1.3 tonnes of antennas originally made by the Irish company Taoglas and imported by Russia in 2024," The Irish Times investigation reads. That is enough to make 36,000 Geran-2 kamikaze drones, a weapon that has become a central part of Russia’s strategy to wear down Ukraine’s will to fight by attacking civilian targets."

A Russian commercial ship monitored by the Irish Defence Forces off the western coast of Ireland in April 2023. Photograph: 105 Sqn/Irish Air CorpsProposals by Minister for Defence Helen McEntee for Defence Forces personnel to board sanctioned Russian vessels are “unacceptable” and would amount to “piracy”, Moscow’s ambassador to Ireland has said. Jurgen Klopp Liverpool return verdict reached after Chelsea and Manchester United 'approaches'Jurgen Klopp has been back in the news this week and that's been enough for some people to ponder a return to Liverpool for the former bossView Image Jurgen Klopp has been spotted at the Winter Olympics (Image: AFP via Getty Images)If ever there has been someone loving life away from the dugout, it's Jurgen Klopp. And that became apparent this campaign when, for myriad reasons, Liverpool have struggled in their defence of the championship. For a start, there's the manner in which Klopp is clearly enjoying himself after almost a quarter-of-a-century in the pressurised arena of football management. ‌What is clear from his post-Anfield escapades though is that he is still earning money just from being Jurgen Klopp, with a vast array of brands and organisations vying to be associated with one of football's best and most marketable characters. So why would anyone who values the contribution he made to Liverpool Football Club, and indeed Liverpool as a city, want him to return to the Anfield dugout for anything more than just a charity match?

It also became one of the early examples of user interface design conventions such as badges, rating buttons, sharing and recommendation features which have largely become standard features across media platforms today. Corinna Gardner, senior curator of design and digital at the V&A, said: “This snapshot of YouTube during the early days of web 2.0 marks an important moment in history of the internet and digital design. The process of reconstruction will also be explored in a mini display at V&A East Storehouse, with the acquisition building on the V&A’s commitment to collecting and preserving digital design.
