But of all the enemies he’s made, there’s one Gordon has loathed more than any: his former boss, chef Marco Pierre White. On his Netflix show, however, Gordon reflects warmly on those times, saying: ‘Marco was brutal in an incredible way. Marco later commented: ‘I didn’t make Gordon Ramsay cry. A Novo Nordisk spokeswoman in Ireland described this week’s development as “a milestone in progressing this reimbursement application”. It applied for Wegovy to be covered for patients under the State’s medical card and community drug schemes. The Novo Nordisk spokeswoman said it works closely with the HPRA to “raise awareness about and combat the manufacturing and spread of unauthorised, unlawful and unsafe semaglutide active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and semaglutide medicines”.

SIPTU will support workers who refuse to assist Israel fixtureSIPTU Deputy General Secretary, Greg Ennis, has reiterated his union’s call on the Government and FAI to boycott the proposed Ireland vs Israel Nations League matches or face the likelihood that workers may refuse to assist with the fixture on conscience grounds. International sport is inherently political; it showcases a nation and its people to the world. Israel, as other states have before them, has sought to use the spectacle of sport to hide blood-stained hands. This is a matter of conscience, which, if they are Union members, we will seek to support them in. The Union maintains that the FAI must show consistency, noting that the association previously called for the exclusion of Israeli teams from international competition.

Friday's Champions League knockout draw is so unbalanced that every team to have won the competition over the past decade has been placed on the same side of the bracket. Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Liverpool - the six European heavyweights to win the Champions League since 2016 - have all remarkably found themselves on one half of the draw. Gifted a dream route to the final, Arsenal are now the bookies' favourites to lift the Champions League trophy for the first time in May after dodging every single winner of the past 10 years. Remarkably, due to the lopsided nature of the draw, Newcastle have been given a better chance of winning the tournament than both PSG and Real Madrid at 4.66%. The current holders have been given 4.64% of a chance by comparison while Real Madrid are only predicted at 2.78% to lift the trophy.
