‌Bhandara News राज्य सरकार ने कम विद्यार्थी संख्या के कारण मराठी स्कूलों को बंद करने का फैसला किया है। इसके कारण राज्य के 18 हजार से अधिक और भंडारा जिले की लगभग 155 शालाएं बंद होने की संभावना है, जबकि शिक्षा के अधिकार कानून के अनुसार शाला का विद्यार्थियों के घरों से कुछ किलोमीटर दूरी पर होना जरूरी है। ऐसे में इस शासकीय निर्णय से नाराज पालकों, विद्यार्थियों, शिक्षकों और गांववालों ने सरकार से शाला बंद करने के फैसले को वापिस लेने तथा शिक्षकों की रिक्त पदों की भर्ती करने सहित विभिन्न मांगों को लेकर 18 फरवरी को जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय पर यल्गार मोर्चे का आयोजन किया है।स्थानीय शास्त्री चौक के हुतात्मा स्मारक से बुधवार को सुबह 11 बजे यह यल्गार मोर्चा आरंभ होगा, जो शहर के मुख्य मार्गों से होते हुए जिलाधिकारी कार्यालय पर दस्तक देगा। इस बारे में ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन ने आरोप लगाया है कि सरकार शाला समायोजन नीति से ग्रामीण और दूरदराज के इलाकों की शालाएं बंद कर रही हंै। जिले के कई स्कूल बंद होने की कगार पर हैं। इसका असर गरीब और आदिवासी विद्यार्थियों पर पड़ेगा। संगठन ने सभी नागरिकों से इस मोर्चे में बड़ी संख्या में शामिल होने का आह्वान किया है।पालक कई बार कर चुके आंदोलन : जिले की कई शालाओं में शिक्षकों के पद रिक्त पड़े है। हाल ही में आदिवासी बहुल के विद्यार्थियों ने अभिभावकों के साथ मिलकर जिला परिषद के सामने आंदोलन किया था। अभी फिर से कम संख्या वाले शालाओं को बंद करने के फैसले के विरोध में आंदोलन हो रहा है।कई शालाओं में दस से भी कम विद्यार्थी : जिले की अनेक शालाओं में दस से भी कम विद्यार्थी संख्या है। वहीं अनेक शालाओं में केवल एक शिक्षक है। ऐसे शालाओं को समायोजित किया गया तो विद्यार्थियों को लंबी दूरी तय कर शाला में पहुंचना पड़ेगा। इससे ग्रामीण अंचल के विद्यार्थियों को यातायात सुविधाओं के अभाव में काफी परेशानी होगी और गरीब वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों यह संभव नहीं होगा। इसलिए पालक और विद्यार्थी कम संख्या वाली शालाओं को बंद करने के फैसले का विरोध कर रहे हैं।

The Supreme Court has ruled that grabbing of breasts and pulling the pyjama string amount to "attempt to rape", setting aside a controversial Allahabad High Court order which said these were only "preparation to commit rape". The Maharashtra government has revoked its old order granting 5% reservation to the backward classes among Muslims in the State. The reservation was granted under the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) category via the formation of the SBC-A or Special Backward Category-A. The Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Maharashtra government in 2014 had granted 16% reservation to Marathas and 5% reservation to Muslims in government and semi-government jobs and education.
