Dr Michael Obeng was arrested in a joint operation by the MDC and the Ghana Police Service where some suspected quack medical doctors and dentists were arrested in the Greater Accra, Bono and Central regions. The operation led to the closure of seven health facilities where the suspects were operating. Some 12 fake dentists and six quack medical doctors are said to have attended to many people in their operational areas. The names of the quack doctors, according to the Daily Graphic report, were given as Osei Bonsu Hayford, who was arrested practising medicine illegally at the O.B.

The worried father upon hearing this decided to call the deceased senior brother who is also a pastor to inform him but the deceased stopped him from doing so. The deceased is said to have later told his father to go and rest in his room while he (deceased) also takes a nap but instead hanged himself on his ceiling fan. Father of the deceased in an interview said he believes the threats of divorce forced his son who’s a father of five to take his life. A report was made to the Police who came to the crime scene and conveyed the dead body to Abura Dunkwa Mortuary for preservation.

He claimed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's quest to build the Cathedral was a command from God. These utterances from the Eagle Prophet triggered a response from Kwame A-Plus who has labelled the Eagle Prophet as "foolish" for making such a statement in the public domain.
