When asked by Neat FM host last Thursday about a call by NDC lawyer Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo, for the Attorney General to drop the case against Owusu Bempah, Nimako submitted. Viral videos showed Owusu Bempah in a car with some aides bearing guns in front of the residence of Agradaa. He was refused bail by a Circuit Court on Monday before his lawyers proceeded to the High Court where he was granted a 200,000 Ghana cedis bail.

Aside from expecting the younger women to remain virgins prior to the puberty rite, it is taboo for women to get married or pregnant without haven gone through adulthood initiation. A police statement released later Saturday said the quartet had been arrested for allegedly causing public disorder at Jamestown in Accra. “Preliminary investigations suggest the unlawful protest was in response to the widely circulated list of potential Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs),” the statement read in part. The Jamestown incident was specifically in respect of who becomes the next Mayor of Accra. Protesters were acting in support of outgoing Mayor Mohammed Adjei Sowah. The police further cautioned all individuals of groups intending to unlawfully protest over the list or anyother matter to abandon such plans or face the law.

PIAC also holds the belief that the few legacy projects should be identified and supported by the Annual Budget Fund Amount.

According to him, he organized a search team who searched around the facility including the septic tank for the missing man but to no avail. On Thursday, five days after the deceased had gone missing, it was reported that a group of children who visited the sawmill said they had spotted a dead body in the septic tank behind the community toilet. According to him, nobody could explain how the 48-year-old ended up in the septic tank which was covered with iron sheets nailed to wooden planks. The attendant at the facility, Terkpertey Daddy told GhanaWeb that he did not realize when the deceased visited the toilet.
