The document calling the masterwork’s provenance into question surfaced after Christie’s announced the sale, according to the museum. The new machine comes through a collaboration between New Jersey-based coffee equipment seller 1st Line and startup Italian espresso equipment maker Torre. The water-capacity feature on the Torre Peppina represents a departure from most steam boiler systems, which are typically built to adhere to a single non-adjustable factory-set capacity range. By adjusting the water level inside the 1.2-liter steam boiler, users can prioritize either greater steam capacity or greater hot water capacity. “This scenario would damage the heating element in the steam boiler because it would be exposed to air. When optimized for maximum steam output, the machine can deliver up to 600 milliliters of hot water.

Abiy Ahmed (Source : African Intelligence /AFP photo )By RITADEI remember my dad’s hysteria and ecstasy when Abiy Ahmed, the current prime minister of Ethiopia, came into power in 2018. Millions of people aspiring democracy and development for Ethiopia assumed that Ethiopia’s future could be bright under Abiy’s leadership. For the first in his life, my dad participated in a massive political rally in support of Abiy Ahmed, which was organized at Meskel Square in 2019. Millions of Ethiopians cheerfully supported Abiy Ahmed without considering his ethnicity, religion, education, etc. However, there were few knowledgeable political skeptics who did not lend their support to Abiy Ahmed even back in 2019.

Before arriving in Canada and attending Carleton University, I was unaware of settler colonialism, much less the ongoing occupation of Palestine. The People’s Revolutionary Government remained in solidarity with Palestine; at the 1981 “First International Conference in Solidarity with Grenada”, among the list of attendees were representatives from the Palestine Liberation Organization. Palestine was with Grenada. And Grenada was with Palestine. What will it take for the Grenada of today, for the Grenadian government of today, for Caribbean people in general, to stand with Palestine?
