This week’s playlist features tracks from Nakhane, F---ed Up, Paramore, Valley, Tennis, Ice Spice, Logic, Enter Shikari, Gracie Abrams and Belle and Sebastian. Paramore’s third single off their upcoming album “This Is Why” is a fast-paced dance-punk song that features bouts of spoken wordlike vocals. Abrams’ voice sounds as witchy as ever, seductive and cool, and her lyrics remain remarkable in their simplicity and candour. “Like, damn, she in her mood,” she raps on the track’s chorus over a menacing drill beat.

The animal is bigger and stronger than the arctic fox and so can outcompete it for dens, food and can even predate on arctic fox pups. Increased human activity in the North from things like tourism and fishing appears to be one factor drawing the red fox north, Tolvanen said. “There’s more food for red fox around the settlements, and it’s not far from the settlements to the tundra,” he said. “The feeders are made so the entrance is big enough for an arctic fox, but too small for a red fox to get in.”Arctic fox by the numbers 2022 was an encouraging year for the arctic fox in the Nordic countries. In my twenties, it was more an epithet flung at figures you despised, like Nixon and, later, Reagan — under the heading, Friendly Fascism, due to his chucklehead style. FDR said in 1936 that his generation of Americans had a rendezvous with destiny — a line Reagan, who admired FDR, repeated. It also starts to seem that every generation has its rendezvous with fascism.
